Sample cylinders
- Construction: Made from 304L or 316L stainless steel for corrosion resistance.
- Pressure ratings: Available in various DOT ratings, including high-pressure (up to 1800 psig) and ultra-high pressure (up to 5000 psig). TPED (Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive) compliant cylinders are also available for the EU community.
- Sizes: Range from 75 cc up to 2250 cc.
- Fittings: Standard 1/4" female NPT threads on both ends.
- Treatments: Many cylinders can be ordered with internal surface treatments like Sulfinert® or Silcosteel® for improved inertness.
Accessories
- Valves: Available in multiple configurations, including those with dip tubes and rupture discs.
- Dip tubes: Can be welded to the valve to create a headspace, which is ideal for liquefied gases to prevent over-pressurization from temperature changes.
- Rupture discs: Vent pressure to the atmosphere and must have a pressure rating lower than the cylinder's.
