Filtration

• Purpose:

  To purify carrier and fuel gases, ensuring high-purity output (e.g., > 99.9999% for gas) for sensitive applications like GC and MS
• Function:

  Remove contaminants such as hydrocarbons, moisture, and oxygen, depending on the specific cartridge used.
• Design:

  Often include a glass interior to prevent diffusion and a polycarbonate housing for safety.
• Convenience:
• Feature quick-connects for leak-free cartridge changes and visual, color-coded indicators to signal when a cartridge needs replacement.  

 UHPLC Pre-Column Filters

• Design:

  Compact, stainless-steel filters with a stainless-steel frit and PEEK ferrule.
• Performance:

  Leak-tight up to 15, 000 psi (1034 bar

   

  Compatibility:
  Available with Parker-style ports but are not compatible with Waters columns. 

   

   

   

• Purpose:
  Used for laboratory processes that require the separation of solids from a fluid using a filter membrane.
