UV-1900 UV-VIS spectrophotometer, is equipped with an ultrafast scan function that enables data acquisition in 29,000nm/min (it takes about three seconds to measure in visible region.), the fastest level in the industry.
The UV-1900 features a large, easy-to-use color touch panel as well as excellent operability. In addition, it can perform high-accuracy quantitative analysis, thanks to a proprietary low stray light diffraction grating, the same device used in our top-of-the-range UV-VIS spectrophotometers. Connecting this instrument with Shimadzu's analysis data management system provides integrated data management with various analysis instruments, in an environment compatible with guidelines and regulations related to electronic records and electronic signatures.
LabSolutions UV-Vis, Shimadzu's UV-Vis control software released simultaneously, contributes to data pass/fail judgments via its spectral evaluation functions.

Technical specifications
The UV-1900 on-screen user interface includes large, easy-to-see icons deployed on a black background, so the instrument settings are evident at a glance. The control panel is ergonomically designed and positioned at the optimum viewing angle for the user. This instrument can not only run checks for nine JIS items, but also those stipulated in the Japanese Pharmacopoeia (JP), United States Pharmacopeia (USP), and the European Pharmacopoeia (EP). Spectra can be acquired as fast as 29,000 nm/min. Ultra-fast scan is effective in tracking chemical reactions in a short time. USB memory can be connected directly to the UV-1900.
